Adam's 2nd Birthday

Adam had a special day. August 20 marks one year since we brought him home from the hospital. I decided that since the kids have to share a birthday, that their "coming home" days can be just their very own. In the future this means that they will get to pick what they want to eat, and wear, and do and say, etc. You know-like a real birthday. Unfortunately, all of my great plans for this year's special day went out the window (no reason-just sheer laziness) and Adam stayed in his pj's all day. (That's what I would want to do on my special day, so I figured he would too). I didn't even take a picture, so I was glad when my friend volunteered her services. Go here to see some more shots.

There is too much to say about all the has happened in one short year. I used to scoff at people who said, "Enjoy it. It will go too fast." Now I am one of them. It's true.

Why I Have Not Blogged

This is not exactly my life, but close enough. And it makes me happy.

The Other Set

I have talked about Gma Jean, and Gpa Clyde on this blog. But the kids have other grandparents too! And we are lucky enough to have them here-they are the kind who feed us, and have special toys at their house, and allow us to do things like leave the house without buckling a 5 point harness.

On one such occasion, they went on an outing (a much anticipated outing)

Thanks for the fun time Gma and Gpa Fitz! We can't wait to drive the cart!
