The Big Day

Jeff and Jill officially got hitched on June 20. It was a great day and everything ran smoothly as far as I could tell (of course I'm not the mother of the bride so what do I know). It was so nice to meet Jeff's family and we are so glad to have him as a brother...welcome to the family Jeff!

The Cube and Other LA Adventures

So Ry and I tried to come up with a wedding present that would be fitting for his only sister. The only thing we could come up with did not come from Target or Bed Bath and Beyond. And what makes an event even better? To make it a surprise. So we kidnapped the bride and groom 3 days before their wedding and drove them to LA...but we didn't go to Disneyland--well, at least not right away. Thanks to Ryan's internet research and persuasive talent, he found a connection to get into Club 33--Disneyland's most famous secret. In order to get in though, we had to rent some guy's limo first. So we rode in style and spent the morning at The Cube--which is a really cool Discovery Museum. I highly recommend it. We then spent a leisurely afternoon dining at the Club and then running around the park to fit in the best rides before we dropped dead from exhaustion. The whole event took 24 hrs-even though I keep telling myself we are done doing DL in one day.

Bountiful Reception

Ry's sister, Jill, married a guy from Bountiful, Ut. It is home to Nielson's frozen custard, and The Mandarin (Chinese) which pretty much makes it the greatest place on earth. We were happy to have any excuse to go there, but this reception was worth the trip even without perks.

To Sleep, or Not to Sleep?

I guess not.

Yes, We Went Again

If you have cute enough kids, we'd probably go with you too.

We did some other stuff this time.

There was a lot of water.

And a fun sleepover.

11 Months...

There is too much to say about what these guys are up to. Hopefully videos are good enough.

(can't protest about a dress getting in the way this time)

Mother's Day Presents

Ryan gave me:

• sleeping in and washing bottles
• changing one diaper

Rachel gave me:

• 2 new top teeth! (sorry I never have pictures of your milestones)
• not squealing too loudly during church

Adam gave me: (I recommend muting these videos. It really is quite embarrassing.)

My dad bet that Rachel would crawl first. She doesn't get first prize, but this proves it was almost a tie.

I have many many thoughts about my kids and my mother's day with them, but since I'm tired I will leave you with these two:

1. Mother's Day needs to be on a Saturday
2. I should've worn ear plugs so "sleeping in" wasn't just "staying in bed"
