Road Trip 2010

Stage 1 of 3. Day 1 of 1. You would think that driving from Vegas to Salt Lake would be the easiest part of the trip. And it was pretty good. But there were a couple of hours there where there was a lot of crying and screaming. And that was just me. Luckily, Historic Filmore and its' playground, horses, and 5 Buck Pizza saved us. That was the only solo part of the trip. We were very happy to arrive in Salt Lake to pick up our friends Royce and Heather. Stay tuned for Stage 2...

The 4th

We spent the 4th in Mt. Charleston--we're glad Ry's grandparents live there so we can have 70 degree weather in the middle of summer!

Adam and Rachel loved playing peek a boo with our cousin, Amelia. We don't know what we would have done without her!

The First Time

Even though we've been to Disneyland before (!), there were a lot of firsts about this time around. 

• We've never been as a whole family (Gma, Gpa, Jeff, Jill, Ryan, Amy, Adam, Rachel)
• We've never stayed in a hotel more than one night
• We've never gone to the park for more than one day
• We've never had to cram into 2 teacups
• We've never seen fireworks two nights in a row
• We've never been able to give the kids a nap before (thanks, Gpa!)
• We've never had this much fun!
