I've driven by that cross in Effingham many times. Who knew it was record breaking? :) What a fun trip!
We drive by that cross whenever we come down to visit St. Louis. I love that it notes: world's largest cross in the western hemisphere. hehee :)
Yes, I do wish I was there with you! Exactly how far East/South do you plan on coming? Orlando has the world's largest McDonald's and Christmas, FL has the world's largest alligator. It's actually a building. And it's in a town called CHRISTMAS. You really shouldn't miss that! Not that we've been there. But we would try to come meet you if you come that far!
