We celebrated Halloween like most people...going to as many free events as possible--mostly involving pumpkins...the kids were so excited to paint their pumpkins. We had to fight for a table so I just grabbed whatever colors I could. I thought black would make for a great jack o lantern. I didn't think about how seriously Adam would take his painting job. There is a face and arms on his pumpkin...but only a trained Mother's Eye could find them :)

Wow, Adam is so thorough. I hated things like that (coloring-ugh) because I hated leaving any corner "unfinished" and felt like everything had to be filled in, but I hated doing it.
