As you can probably tell, we've had a lot of big things to recover from. So it was almost bedtime when I remembered that these girls were 7 months old! So here is our makeshift, real life, bedtime photoshoot.
Things are quite different around here since last month. We've had to add rice cereal to Erica's bottles, and she has chubbed up quite nicely. (Both in 6 month clothes). They both are on solids and so far the favorites are squash, sweet potatoes and peas. No teeth yet, but congestion and lack of sleep lead me to believe they are coming. Not sitting up, but definitely both are training to crawl. Knees are up and scooting and rocking have commenced. Although nothing has been quite so entertaining as Erica's toe/headstand position. One of these days she will actually flip right over. I will post a video as soon as I get around to it. Brooke continues to be a happy and easy baby. Erica is happy and playful as long as she gets enough sleep. Which means we have entered the "can't go anywhere because it's better to sleep in our cribs". Oh, and we have set up the second "crib." It's a porta crib, and is small, but we got a good mattress for it, and it fits perfectly in the room, so hopefully it will last through toddlerhood. Even though these babes are still pretty small (14 lbs ish), I keep seeing newborn babies and feeling sad that my girls are so grown up.

You are so good. I would have said, to heck with it. Glad you are documenting these milestones.
