Adam's 2nd Birthday

Adam had a special day. August 20 marks one year since we brought him home from the hospital. I decided that since the kids have to share a birthday, that their "coming home" days can be just their very own. In the future this means that they will get to pick what they want to eat, and wear, and do and say, etc. You know-like a real birthday. Unfortunately, all of my great plans for this year's special day went out the window (no reason-just sheer laziness) and Adam stayed in his pj's all day. (That's what I would want to do on my special day, so I figured he would too). I didn't even take a picture, so I was glad when my friend volunteered her services. Go here to see some more shots.

There is too much to say about all the has happened in one short year. I used to scoff at people who said, "Enjoy it. It will go too fast." Now I am one of them. It's true.

The special day is a good way to recognize the special blessings and much progress in the past year's time. Pictures are great. Can't wait for more.

Those pictures are cute (on that other blog). And it's already been too long (What...really less than a month too long?) YES. Come visit...NOW. :-)

I think that is a great idea! Who wouldn't want two days a year to celebrate their birth (and coming home) instead of just one! The pictures are really cute too!

I find out tomorrow! Fingers crossed!! :-)
