Sunday Afternoon

If your mom gives you a cup of milk, you will put it in the cupboard.

If you put it in the cupboard, you will see the brownie mix and ask to make some. You will put on an apron and a bib, but you will still make a big mess.

So you will decide to take a bath. While you are taking a bath, your mom will soak all of your chocolate covered clothes in the sink. When you get out of the bath, you will ask to put on your church shoes and a diaper. You walk into the kitchen and track brownie mix onto the carpet, so you decide to clean up.

Mom helps by getting out the mop, but you are scared and hide in the corner.
Then, the timer goes off, and you take what was left of the brownies out of the oven.
You are too excited to see them, so you slip on the wet floor, fall down, and cry.
All of this work has reminded you that you are hungry, so you get to have pizza and brownies for lunch.

All of that eating has made you thirsty. So, chances are, if you're thirsty, your mom will give you a cup of milk.

Whata a great story! You should print out the photos and text and put them in a book for the kids to read. I was especially impressed about how messy they got. And your self control to let them be creative. Good work!!

Why does this seem like it should be a common occurrence at your home? I have a hard time letting my 5 year old break open eggs.

Haha. Those kids are the best. I was wondering what that comment from your mom on the "Reason..." blog was for.

You are such a good mom to let your kids be so creative. What a fun activity (albeit messy).

Cute post! You are braver than I am to let messes like that happen...

This is so cute Amy. I can't believe how big the kids are. I haven't seen them in quite a while. Your blog is quite entertaining. I love how you make everyday things fun to read about. I'll be checking back often. Now if I could only make my blog as interesting.
