I needed a laugh today...
While eating tater tots for lunch...
Rachel: "I want Mater" (from Cars)
Me: "oh, because Mater rhymes with tater"
Rachel: "Ryan's Mater?"

Happy Birthday, Ryan!
Me: "Don't you care at all about turning 30?"
Ry: "Oh, am I going to be 30?"
He has never cared about birthdays, but I think it is a big deal! Even though I have only known Ry for a third of his life, I hope it has been the best third! And I hope we can be just as happy in another 30 years.
Happy Birthday, Husband! We love you!

Our Weekend with Four Kids
These pictures/videos are all out of order, but they're just for me to remember anyway, so deal with it. We went to Payson to help build the house again. But that didn't work out. So instead of building, we got to spend a lot of extra time with our friends Lucy and Spencer. I don't know who had the most fun--us, or them.
Sunday: dinner theatre at the Truman's
Monday: Window shopping at the mall
Tuesday: Bowling!

Vegas Culture
There are a few things you can do here in Vegas that are family friendly. We have season passes to the Lied Discovery Museum, and we are loving it! The kids cry every time we leave and it's even entertaining for adults. We went with Royce and Heather--I think they had the most fun :)
And Vegas has finally gotten their act together and opened a Steak N' Shake. Ryan was shocked how long the line was, but Royce and I knew it was worth the wait. Now if we just get a Ted Drewes and a St. Louis Bread Co. and a free zoo, then my parents can move here and I would never go to St. Louis again.
But, in the meantime, we will enjoy what we do have.
There is nothing more exciting for Adam than fixing a "broken tire" |
