A Disney Easter

Awhile ago, Royce tried to talk us into going to do the Easter Egg hunt for one Sunday in April. We didn't want to-we had been recently, Ryan had to work and it was spring break so we knew it would be crowded. Heather was smart enough to stay home, but Royce didn't take no for an answer and so off we went! And I admit that it was one of the most fun and relaxed times at Disney we've ever had. It might have something to do with the fact that we only went on two rides the whole day. :)

Our first egg!

I love Mary Poppins. I will be skinny in my next life and born in England so I can be her.

 Forget the characters...let's find eggs!

We met some bunnies along the way:

 Brer Rabbit:

Erica fell in love with this employee--

 Rabbit of course :)

The White Rabbit--you had to chase him down. But we thought we'd wait till he was done with this princess-

More eggs to find. At this point it became a big competition-Royce vs Adam. And Royce never let him win!

And now a much needed break for the babies...gotta love Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln for a good place to stretch

Disneyland egg map? Check. Off to California Adventure--these ones were much harder to find

Adam spied Lightning McQueen from this far away. Can you see the egg?

 Last One!

 Time for prizes

Adam got Chip n Dale and RachE got Daisy and Minnie

And now....I have to brag about my kids just a little bit---the fair was all day Saturday and we went to bed at 10pm. Then we left for Disney at 6am and got home at 3am Monday morning. Royce had to be at the airport at 5:45. But no problem cause Ryan was going to take him. But they called me at 5:30 am and said that Ryan got a flat tire. There was no other option except for me to take my four sleeping children who had only been in bed for two hours after sleeping in the car all night and put them back in the car to race him to the airport so he could make it to work without getting fired :) And I dreaded doing that, but not one of these four cried or complained when I set them on their feet and told them to get in the car. They didn't ask for shoes or to go to the bathroom or say why are we doing this? They just did it. Barefoot and cold. Even the babies only peeped for one second before they drifted off to sleep. So we got fast food breakfast on the way home to reward them. Their good behavior lasted for about an hour...and then I wanted to run away again :)
