We Bought a Present for the Children

...and by children-I include Ryan.

  • 2004 Ford Expedition- Eddie Bauer
  • 4 wheel drive
  • tan leather interior
  • sun roof
  • 8 seats
  • back seats fold down with touch of button
  • front and side air bags
  • dual temp control
  • adjustable petals
  • steering wheel control of music and temperature
  • 6 CD changer
  • 25,000 miles
  • garage door opener sync
  • running boards
  • rear temp control
  • dual sun visors
  • keyless entry
  • hitching capability
  • and most importantly...chrome exhaust pipe

I did leave a few things out because I don't want anyone to be too jealous. And for those of you who wanted us to get a mini-van because you were worried about the gas mileage, height and ability to get car seats in and out-well, I guess you'll just have to come camping with us sometime.

Sounds awesome! And we'll let you keep your romantic ideas about how things are going to be after the babies launch 'cause if anyone's going camping with 2 two year-olds, it's you guys. Just like the Hummer commercial...

Hm. Gift for the babies and ALL the toys they are going to have. Perhaps even their entourage. :)

NICE! Way to go. I'm a little jealous... even thought I love my mini van. Amy and Jeff will be glad to know you bought a Ford.

Something I learned from the Temple Riders Motorcycle Club: The more chrome you have, the more your husband loves you.

I love the color and am jealous of all the amenities. I am comforted knowing I will get to ride in it and help haul babies to the Dr. and who knows where. But I also am smug knowing that I have seat warmers and you don't! They are a bit more necessary in St. Louis, however.

Wow! Kids are the best reasons sometimes to get nice new things like that. In order to get rid of my last car (I was pregnant and the car was approaching 200,000 miles) I would continually scare Tom into believing that it would for sure break down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere with just me and the newborn baby. It totally worked. :) Congrats on the nice new car! 8 seats? That's awesome.

Sweet ride. Tan leather is highly recommended in the desert (over black at least, not that we'd know or anything...)

I hope you get like 12 miles to the gallon and put out so much dangerous gases that you get your own hole in the Ozone. Al Gore will love that :)
